Argentinian Actress Mónica Villa Comes to Repertorio Español

We’ve all probably heard the phrase “think, before you speak”, right? And if we followed that advice more often wouldn’t we save ourselves a ton of trouble!
Next week Tuesday, April 5th at 7 pm Repertorio will open its doors to welcome Argentinian actress Monica Villa for a special presentation of her one-woman show La caja magica y las palabras perdidas. Through the use of various works of literature from Eduardo Galeano, Hector Negro, Raul Gonzalez Tuñon and Calderon de la Barca, Monica encourages the audience to revive the lost words of these brilliant authors and inspires us to use meaningful words in our daily lives. In other words, to think before we speak!
Monica Villa is best known for her interpretation of Susana in the Argentinian classic film “Esperando la carroza” (Waiting for Hearse) and was also featured in the 2015 Oscar nominated film “Relatos Salvajes” (Wild Tales). Monica Villa comes to New York exclusively to Repertorio Español to share La caja magica y las palabras perdidas after its success in Argentina.
With only one performance this is a presentation you won’t want to miss!
